DESCRIPTION

A concept album of experimental interpretations and original compositions inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Written and recorded between 2019 and 2023, this album utilises tape machines, pedal steel guitar, modular synthesizers, field recordings, piano, double bass, and various DIY circuits/devices in an attempt to approach the idea of the “video game cover album” in a more organic and interpretative way. By mixing acoustic and ensemble elements with processed electronic and synthesised sounds, the intention is to reflect the feelings of desolation, space, and loss often evoked by this most revered and influential game.

Double LP on frosted clear/green vinyl.

Lacquer cut by Lupo and pressed at Pallas, Germany.

Plays at 45 RPM.

Recorded and mixed by Imprints, 2019-2023.
